Specialising in miniature-style paintings, Suvigya Sharma sparks magic on canvas with his recent collection which revolves around ancient art forms with a 2,000-year-old history. He has recreated history by infusing 24-carat gold Tanjores in his miniatures and, apart from that, he has also restored reputed heritage sites in India and abroad. Some of his notable works include the City Palace in Jaipur and the Art Museum in Singapore. His collection, The Art of the Royals, has been fused with 24-carat gold gliding embellishment and semi-precious stones. In this series, Suvigya explores the intricate miniature style using mirror pieces and gold. His paintings reflect an aesthetic fusion on wooden panels, mirrors and synthetic sheets, which highlight both contemporary as well as traditional Indian interiors. He has labeled this series ‘Refined Tanjores With A Twist’. Come experience art in its rawest form.
