Are supplements safe for health?
Supplements should be used when there is a deficiency in the human body or when one cannot get the right nutrients or minerals from wholesome food. Plant-based formulations are very effective when one is on strong medication, chemo, radiation and other diseases as a good supplement can help balance the collateral damage and side effects of medicine and conventional treatments. Make sure you select a good brand that is willing to furnish all certifications if the customer needs it. Transparency is a must when it comes to supplements. Always try to get the best out of nature first though and use supplements wisely and when needed.

People know that white rice is bad and raises blood sugar levels quickly. But does one need to give it up completely?
White rice had in moderation is ok at lunch time. It's too heavy as a dinner option. If you have diabetes, serve a lot of veggies and lentils with your rice, so your plate has more veggies and lentils that the rice itself and that way the fibre in the veggies and lentils will not allow blood sugar to spike rapidly. Adding a little pure ghee will also control that.

What should one do for dandruff and falling hair?
It is always an inside outside approach. Feed your body and cells the nutrients they need and you will have strong and healthy hair. Add in exercise too, so that circulation improves as blood carries oxygen and nutrients from the food we eat to the cells. Mix one portion apple cider with one portion water and apply it on your scalp and hair. Let it stay for 30 minutes and then wash it off. This will cleanse the scalp of dandruff.
