Gig to catch EDM at NCPA
NCPA is all set to make their maiden venture into the world of Electronic Dance Music (EDM), with a two-day musical extravaganza featuring the top musicians in the Indian EDM scene. The first day of the concert will host 29-year-old Sahej Bakshi, better known by his stage name Dualist Inquiry, who has, in addition to being selected to perform at international venues, shared the stage with artists such as David Guetta and Basement Jaxx. Day two of the concert will sway the audience with Anish Sood’s music. Anish has been a regular performer at nightclubs and festivals and has been booked to play at the Sunburn Festival and the recent Unite: The Mirror to Tomorrowland. Farrahnaz Irani, senior manager of programmes (western music), says, “In an effort to reach out to a younger audience, NCPA is proud to present a new genre of music for the very first time. At NCPA, we have always strived to bring together an eclectic mix of musical experiences to our audience. Therefore we believe that Electric will be very well received.” So, head over to NCPA to catch their first ever EDM concert.
