If your one problem with matte lipsticks is that they can feel too dry on your lips, this range was made for you. We usually put a slick of lip balm over matte lipstick to help it look a little creamier, so there was no reason not to love this range, since the stellar formula does it for us in one swipe! You will have to apply two layers to build on the perfect colour (and we suggest a little lip primer underneath because this will seep into lip lines), but once you do, rest assured that it won’t crack any more through the day. The best part is that it stays on comfortably through eating, drinking and even a little lip biting (though we don’t recommend that!). They have a range of reds, pinks and browns, of which we tried four — All Fired Up, which looks like a bright red in the swatches, but actually glides on as a delicious, pinky red that we loved; Ravishing Rose, which is an extremely light pink that looks like a gorgeous throwback to when old rose was all the rage; Craving Coral, which is a run-off-the-mill, but very pretty peachy orange and the Burgundy Blush, which was our least favourite and may have looked more luxurious if it was one shade lighter. Once you pick the perfect shade for yourself from their selection of 12 (and if you can afford to — a shade for every mood), there’s no reason for these not to become your daily favourites.
