Sabyasachi’s spring-summer collection includes saris that are made using a variety of embroidery forms including zardozi, chikankari and mukaish, which are presented on a refined palette of ivories, dusty pinks and pale pistachios. The range on offer includes saris with chiffon appliqué work, moti highlights on a tulle base and kali styled pleats that have thread-work highlighted with sequins. Their heritage line, Varanasi, which takes a deep look at Banaras textiles, crafts as well as prints and embroidery, includes a beautiful collection of Banarasi saris in soft hues, as well as vintage zardozi lehengas. Sabyasachi saris are a beautiful amalgamation of hand-woven base fabrics from Banaras, with vintage odhnas. The saris at My Beautiful Embroideries are inspired by Chinese, Persian and Indian techniques. One of their specialties is their Parsi Gara work.
