We don’t really celebrate Halloween in India, so if you want to play dress-up, get ready for the Mumbai Comic Con, which touches down in the city this weekend. Every year, the event sees a large number of comic book and pop culture fans show up to interact with their favourite characters and personalities. This year’s special guests include Jim Beaver, who played demon hunter Bobby Singer on Supernatural; Cameron Stewart, Eisner award winning artist known for his work on the Catwoman and Batman series; and Dan Goldman, artist of Shooting War and Priya’s Shakti. But, Comic Con is also about fan experiences and there will be several experiential and gaming zones. And, don’t forget that the event plays host to the cosplay costume contest. Jatin Varma, founder of Comic Con India, says, “I am extremely excited to host the sixth edition of the Alto Mumbai Comic Con this year. We are truly bringing our biggest and best show yet to city. I look forward to welcoming thousands of Comic Con fans back to the show!”
