Graffiti is a big thing in western countries, with various cultures and artistic talents displayed beautifully on walls, buildings and facades through the medium of spray paint. However, in India, graffiti isn’t as widespread as it could be. But, that’s about to change. If you’ve been taken in by an inspiring work of graffiti art in the city and wanted to know how it’s done, here’s your chance. One of India’s premier graffiti artists, known by his moniker NME, is conducting a workshop where he will give participants a basic understanding of graffiti and spray cans. Enrol in the four-hour workshop for Rs 1,999, which includes snacks, tea, a spray can, two marker pens and a sketchbook. NME says, “If I can teach people my art and pass on my skills, there is no greater joy. Above all, I want participants to be inspired to think creatively and have the motivation to paint.”
