The Mumbai leg of Sea Rock eliminations had an eargasmic line up of rock, metal and death metal performances. Held at 'The White Owl' in Parel, eleven bands competed in front of an enthused audience, while two seasoned artists from Soundchapel studios judged them. It was heart warming to see the contestants paying tribute to the deceased epitome of the music industry, Chester Bennington. One by two, a metal band and Dionysian, a thrash/death metal band outperformed their opponents and seized their entry to the semi finals in 'Waves', The Annual Cultural Fest of BITS Goa. The contestants closed the night on a mellow note as they acknowledged Guns N Roses' lead guitarist, Slash's birthday.
