Want to know about Fine Arts
Hello, I am in my second year of BSc in Zoology. When I was taking it up, many people told me that there are no lucrative career options here. But it just interests me so much that I took it up. Now I am thinking of using my interest for my living; please guide me about different job options.

Zoology graduates also find employment in research in areas such as agriculture and fisheries and the other related academic options that you can choose from are Biochemistry, Bioinformatics or Biotechnology, Marine Zoology/ Forensics, Clinical research, Wildlife and forest conservation, environmental monitoring, Toxicology and so on. This is a niche field with a lot of research orientation, and hence does not have a mass appeal. If you are sure that you are ready to undertake a different route and put in the required efforts, then, you should be prepared to take on the challenges with patience and persistence.
This is Agnel. I am studying in Class XII. I am looking forward to studying fine arts, as that interests me. I want to know if there is any career with this course in the future?
Fine Arts are a field for people who have excellent creativity and the power of imagination. There are various specialisations in fine arts like painting, sculpting, music, dance and so on which open up opportunities in fields like advertising firms, films and TV production houses and so on. Depending on your talent and the specialisation, the opportunities will open up. Upgrading your skills and keeping on innovating yourself will be the key factors in optimizing chances of success.
I will soon be completing diploma in Computer Engineering. I may not able to do a degree course further due to some financial issues. Should I opt for a BS. IT or any other computer related course ?
—Rohit Dev
Since you have completed a three-year diploma in Computer Engineering, you can take admission into the second year of BSc-IT. If you are interested in making a career in software in future then pursuing Bsc IT would be beneficial but if you are interested in creative field, then Animation or Graphics can be considered. You will have to apply to institutes that offer Bachelor’s in Design- Animation or Graphics [he admission for this course will require you to clear some entrance tests] or enroll with a private institute that will train you in the relevant field along with your graduation. You also have the option of completing your graduation through correspondence or through Open University if you have any financial constraints.
