More on Sound Engineering
Hi. I'm interested in doing a course in Sound Engineering. I have heard there are some good institutes that offer this course in Southern India. Can you help me with their names and details?
—Renu
Your query is incomplete as you haven’t mentioned your educational qualification. Just for your information to become a sound engineer you should have been either a Graduate in B.Sc. [Physics/ Electronics] post which you are eligible to pursue Diploma in Sound/Broadcast Engineering or opt for B.E. [Sound Engineering] after clearing the relevant entrance exam after class 12th. There are a good number of institutes offering the course. However, first finalize the route and accordingly look out for the institute with the help of Internet or publications.
I have done my B.A in political science and I am now interested in doing another degree in something related to archaeology or just archaeology itself. Which institutes in India offer this course and how good are they compared to International schools?
— Gautam
There are a few institutions in India where you can pursue Archaeology. The Institute of Archaeology, Punjab University, Bangalore University, University of Madras and so on. Kindly understand that as a Career Counselor it is beyond the work purview to compare any institutes and try to get the information through personal efforts by going through websites, speaking to people and so on
