Nishek Jain, Founder of Culinary Marvel- 29 (owing to cuisines from the 29 states of India) invited the under-privileged children of Angel Express Foundation to the restaurant for a unique culinary experience. Chef experts Sharique and Prakash taught the children the cultural importance and history of the 29 states of India through interactive sessions. The event included with a fun-filled session with games and a fun cooking time with Team 29.
A group of 40 Underprivileged kids of Angel Express Foundation age from age 7 and above, had a day filled with laughter, learning and fun at Restaurant 29. After a small ice breaker discusion, Nishek Jain explained the importance and the culturasl history of the 29 states of our Country, The importance of the different states and also gave the kids a sneek into the different ingredients that are sourced from the different states. A grand lunch was served there after wherein the kids spoke to Nishek and his crew about the different things that they had learnt in the last month, some of them being table etiquette, elocution, mental maths and much more. The kids of The Angel Express Foundation came from slums and thus was one of their first few outings to a restaurant. As each dish was served Chef Sharique explained the origin of the dish along with other specialties of that state.
It was found that most of these kids aspire to be chefs but don't have the oppertunity to do so, Nishek made their day by taking them inside the Kitchen of 29 they had a hands-on experience with the Chefs. Thanks to Team 29 the Children of the Angel Express Foundation had a blast at the restaurant.
" I want to grow up and be an entrepreneur like Nishek and spread my love through my bharati food' said Kajal one of the elders students at The Amel Express Foundation.
This being an initiative very close to Nishek's heart, he strongly believes in the Foundation's need to create a better tomorrow and provide them with basic needs one of them being education in various interactive formats.
