Sheena Bora murder trial
Indrani had allegedly sent documents to her PA to be forged after Sheena's death
During cross-examination, Indrani Mukerjea's former personal assistant, Kajal Sharma told the special CBI court hearing the Sheena Bora murder case that she could not show the court emails that Indrani had sent to her to be forged.
According to the the prosecution case, Indrani Mukerjea had sent her then-PA Sharma, Sheena's resignation letter from her job at Reliance Metro and her rental agreement cancellation so that they could be forged with Sheena's signature and sent to these respective places. These were allegedly done by Indrani to severe Sheena's ties after killing her.
Earlier this month Sharma had said that she had forgotten the password to her email ID to which these emails had been sent. She added that this old email account has been unused for many years now and that she now uses a new email account.
Defence advocate Sudeep Pasbola appearing for Indrani Mukerjea asked her if she could retrieve the account by creating a new password. To this Sharma answered in the negative, saying they are personal mails.
Further when questioned, Sharma said that when she had gone to the CBI office in 2015, she was not certain whose handwriting it was – hers or that of Pradeep Waghmare on an envelope in which she had sent Sheena's resignation letter to her company. Sharma had deposed before court recently that it was Waghmare's handwriting.
