She capitalized on her knowledge and expertise by launching her own company, turning it into a recognized e-commerce platform for high-quality, sophisticated and functional mobile accessories. Her brand is renowned for its product excellence and being customer centric.

What is the idea behind Pebble India?
This was at the time when smartphones had just taken the market by storm. I had just completed my MBA degree in Marketing from IIM Calcutta, although I had an option to join the family business, I wanted to start something that I could call my own.
I remember people around me (including me) running out of battery on our phones all the time. It frequently needed charging through the day and most of the times I used to forget to carry my charger. Unavoidably, I concluded that with the growing rate of smartphone usage, Power banks were going to be the upcoming need of the hour.
After exploring about this segment of power banks and mobile accessories, I discovered that the Indian market was highly cluttered with unbranded and unreliable productsthat could only be used a couple of times and did not have any warranty. Thus, Pebble was born to fill the gap for apremium, reliable and affordable brand of mobile accessories in the market.
How are you different from others?
Smart Mobile accessoriesare the primary focus of Pebble. This is what makes us unique from the rest of our mainstream competitors, the reason being that majority of our competitors deal primarily with mobile phones that leaves the accessories secondary. We are specialized in providing mobile accessories where we focus all our attention and resources.
Due to this, firstly, we provide a vast range of SKUs in every category, be it power banks, cables, headphones, speakers etc. Secondly, our focus as a brand has always been on user-friendly design and premium functionaly which sets us apart from other brands and unrbanded products in the market. For instance, Pebble offers the slimmest range of power banks to the consumers, making them extremely portable; Pebble series of Tough Braided USB Cables are well known to support fast charging and last for a lifetime without any wear and tear, etc. Lastly, we provide a standard 6 months replacement guarantee on our entire product range.
With regards to presence, Pebble is the only brand to be present across all possible channels including offline retail stores, Modern-Retail Chains, Airports and In-flight, Online Platforms and Corporates.
Any expansion plans?
Within the last couple of years, we have already expanded our operations and presence in states across India. Within these states, we are present in Metro and Tier-1 cities and are further entering into Tier-2 and 3 cities as well. Moreover, this year (FY 18-19) we are launching Pebble in other countries including UAE, SriLanka, Nepal and South-East Asia as well, along with expecting a turnover of $4.6 mn (Rs 30 cr) in FY 18-19.
Your vision for the company?
Pebble is a pioneer in power banks and branded mobile accessories. Launched in 2013 by me and my Father Ajay Agarwal, the key philosophy of Pebble is ‘Convenience with Quality’ which is well reflected across its product range that includes power banks, chargers, cables, charging cases, Bluetooth speakers, headphones, headsets, earphones, OTG pen drives and wearables. The vision of the company is to be the leading brand and a house-hold name for smart electronic accessories in the country. We aspire to be the one-stop solution and a go-to brand for every smartphone user for their accessory needs.
Where do you see yourself five years down the road?
The company is planning to establish its foothold in every possible field of accessories with innovations in Quick and Wireless Charging, OTG, Wireless audio, enhanced Camera Lens for smartphones etc. With the current portfolio and upcoming innovations, we are looking to expand in Asia as well as western markets in the next five years. By 2023, we see ourselves as one of the leading and reliable smart accessories brand in the world.
