Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu along with the winners at 29th Council for Fair Business Practies [CFBP] Jamnalal Bajaj Awards in Mumbai yesterday.
The Council for Fair Business Practices (CFBP), yesterday, announced the winners of 29th CFBP Jamnalal Bajaj Awards for Fair Business Practices. Each year, the awards are presented to the most deserving Manufacturing, Trade, Service Enterprises and Charitable Organizations.
This year, the awards were conferred in the presence of Suresh Prabhu, Minister for Railways and Girish Bapat, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Food and Drugs Administration, Parliamentary Affairs. The 2016 award winners were selected by an independent panel of judges headed by Justice B.N. Srikrishna, Former Justice, Supreme Court of India. Other jury members include CFBP President, Kalpana Munshi, Vineet Bhatnagar, Chairman, Awards Committee, Swapnil Kothari, Co-Chairman, Awards Committee and other Executive Committee Members.
Congratulating the winners, Shekhar Bajaj, Founding member CFBP & Chairman Bajaj Electricals said,“It is imperative for enterprises to uphold and adhere to ethical business practices.
As an entity, we take pride in being a self-regulating authority, working for the benefit of all stakeholders, especially the end consumer. We congratulate all the winners of CFBP 2016 Awards and thank them for setting high standards in their respective areas for others to follow.” Commenting on the occasion Kalpana Munshi, President CFBP said, “Together we shall create wonders towards consumer movement.”
