Realising that export will help ensure timely payment of cane price to the farmers by relieving the industry of the surplus, the Union Government has facilitated exports through incentives to cane growers. In order to lend support to this important initiative, the All India Sugar Trade Association (AISTA) and Maharashtra Rajya Sakhar Sangh, have jointly organised a Seminar on October 29, 2018 in Mumbai.
At a curtain raiser event yesterday Praful Vithalani, Chairman of the All India Sugar Trade Association (AISTA), said that the seminar is very timely as just at the start of export campaign it will serve the sugar sector in several ways.
