The evolution of cyberwarfare, the frightening aspect it has taken in the present day, and how technology is being used by those with a negative mindset to create hurdles and obstacles that impact the lives of ordinary people has become a great concern amongst netizens and corporates alike. And it is all described in the present volume of Cyberwarfare’ by Dr. Deepak Shikarpur, an IT expert and Chairman of the Computer Literacy Committee of MCCIA.
Published by Vishwakarma Publications, the book is the author’s 31st book and a continuation of the public awareness he has attempted to create with his earlier book on Cybercrimes. Says Dr Shikarpur “It appears as if we have been given vast resources to carry out destruction through the wrong use of technology, and we must be vigilant and one step ahead in our thinking if we are to control cyber enemies and attackers”.
The book was launched recently in Pune in the presence of Chief of Southern Command Lt. Gen. Raymond Noronha, who was the Chief Guest, and Guests of Honour Air Marshal (Retd.) Bhushan com Gokhale and Kargil war hero Col. Lalit Rai, VrC. All three distinguished gentlemen presented their perspective on the tactics and practices of Cyberwarfare, and congratulated DrShikarpur on bringing out a book on the subject.
