Praveen Toshniwal is the new Chairman CII (Western Region)
Praveen Toshniwal is elected as the New Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Western Region for 2011-12. Toshniwal is the Chairman of Nivo Controls and Managing Director of Toshbro Controls.
Toshniwal was the Deputy Chairman of CII (WR) Council for the year 2010-11. He has been the Chairman of CII Madhya Pradesh State Council, CII Malwa Zonal Council and CII Western Region MSME Sub-Committee and Member, CII National MSME Council.
Toshniwal is a B-Tech (Elec) graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He was also a part of Management Skills Development Programmes at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and Administrative Staff College, Hyderabad.
Ambareesh Baliga joins Way2Wealth as COO
Ambareesh Baliga has taken over as Chief Operating Officer at Way2Wealth, a premier financial intermediary. He will head the Institutional, Wealth Management and the Research Division (institutional & retail advisory).Baliga will be based out of Mumbai.
Baliga has over 25 years of experience in the stock markets. Prior to joining Way2wealth he was with Karvy and Kotak group.
Baliga has varied experience in different facets of financial services such as corporate finance, investment banking, car finance, marketing and distribution of various financial products. He was part of Karvy’s core management group and involved in formulating various business strategies. He set up their PCG business for HNIs in 2001, their Institutional Equity Group in 2003, their PMS Desk, Research and their Institutional Business. Karvy’s foray into Mutual Funds was also spearheaded by Baliga.
