Is there a bit of Raza’s influence on the paintings of Vijay Shinde? Maybe not, but that was the first impression I got. Another source has let it be know he is influenced by M.F. Husain. Shinde is exhibiting his works ‘Prakruti’ at the Tao Art Gallery. He says that his paintings stick to the theme of ‘liberating the soul’. The exhibition will go on till Aug 28.
