Gallery Pradarshak has been showing good art works by artists from all over the country for the last 20 years. It is one of those galleries where the owner — Savitha Hira — has carried on because of a determination to bring art to the people. We see sustained enthusiasm in this regard. What she wants to get is not monetary gains, but a satisfaction which comes from encouraging, spreading creativity. While she has presented quite a few well-known artists, she has given space to young, promising artists for displaying their works. Over 1000-1500 artists must have benefited from her enterprise.On completing 20 years recently, she celebrated: A big show was arranged and hand-picked artists, sculptors, photographers, print makers showed their works. The exhibition had some high-calibre paintings and sculpture.
Present at the celebration were well known artists, architecture, art lovers and others. The title of the exhibition was 'The first shower' by friends of Pradarshak.
