Shilpa Pandit Patole is deep into ancient beliefs. Her art is about ‘chakras’, Mahamaya Kundalini Shakthi, Bhimadevi.
She got ‘diksha’ in Shri Parampara. After taking it, the change in her mind and emotions started reflecting in her paintings and then she experienced the various facets of Kundalini Jagadamba. When she became aware of the ‘chakras’ her curiosity made her study about them. “Then after the study of place where they are located in out body, their presiding God and their colours, I started experiencing that this Mahamaya Kundalini Shakthi is sleeping in three and half circles and she could be awakened by different ‘kriyas’. The different forms of Kundalini Jagadamba inspired her and she tried to interpret them in her paintings.
