Sculpture, paintings by Sanjay Kumar

There are some good, meaningful paintings and sculpture at the exhibition at Jehangir art gallery. Artist: Sanjay Kumar. Just one glance and you know that the artist has mastered all the techniques that go to make a good work and that he has high-calibre imagination and perceptions.

Sanjay Kumar: “There is a most unquestionable and unreadable equation compiled in the book of nature. For me, the clock I subjected to, is not just an object to set my routine of daily activities. There is an unparalled energy of conscousness combining the physical with the metaphysical – a state of being transformed into one form from another – a process of evolution of life…”

There are some excellent sculpture at the exhibition. It is mostly traditional but the artist introduced some forms which are far from real.
