Pradeep Chandra’s photographs appear to be all about memories and monuments of Mumbai. The exhibition includes 75 photographs taken during the last 40 years. There are both black and white and colour photographs – of Bollywood folks, industrialists, artists and writers. The exhibition also has photographs of historical monuments, images of women power and colours and moments of the city. Pradeep Chandra: “All my photographs are close to my heart. Every image I captured in my camera has a different concept – there is a story behind the image.”
The image of Waheda Rehman which he got on his lens has always been a memorable moment to him. ‘This was one of the first pictures I clicked. I was in Class V at that time. It had appeared in print then.”
