Sameer, Haseena and Gulam Vahanvaty presnted a painting show by Sanjay Damodardas Shah at the Cache gallery, Bandra.
Sanjay has been painting oils on canvas since the last nine years. By professions, he is a Diamantaire and painting is another vehicle for his creativity.
There is something about the animals he paints. A hint of a shy smile; he puts round its neck and the whole while animal with just a sharply contrasting red spot produces a gentle, beautiful creaure. It is clear the first stress in aesthetics and aesthetics is really more than half of the battle in a painting.
