Aban Irani’s abstracted works are on view at the Jehangir art gallery. “I paint emotions and feelings — the vibrations in them. Also I paint the vibrations of sound, and of my own breath”.
Aban tries to trace the vibrations of life — in all forms and at various sources. There is elaborate work in the paintings with carefully worked out colour arrangement. The artist has held several solo group shows – most of them in Mumbai.
