Mythical narratives by Rajendra Chauhan, Kishor Mehta

Wednesday, August 17, 2011

Two artists are holding a joint show at the Nehru Centre Art Gallery – Rajendra Chauhan and Kishor Mehta. While Rajendra’s works hae a touch of realism, Kishor Mehta’s works are fully abstracted. Rajendra has been impressed by traditional art of Indian masters. Inspired by it, he has given expression to his impressions of such art. Quite a few contemporary artists too have also painted the Indian scene of the past. The artist’s works show varied textures and colour patterns, decorative details. Contact: Cell: 09903203318.

Kishor Mehta has made many experiments and tried out different styles and searched for various forms and shapes. Gradually he developed his art language. His style now is contemporary.
