Kuneesha Mirzan’s show at Pradarshak

Artist Kuneesha Mirzam makes a two-line statement on art: “Creativity carves its own path. Art like mathematics is a universal language.”

First of all, a person has to be sensitive to become an artist. Then one must have a high degree of imagination. And just as a writer has to have knowledge of words, an artist must have a mastery over art language. Maybe painting or sculpting comes naturally – like all other creative faculties but there is something like sophistication in all creative endeavours.

Artist Kuneesha’s statement has made me write this.
