
Three artists – Pravin Randive, Yashwant Pawar and Dattatray Jamale – are holding a joint exhibition at the Jehangir Art Gallery. The exhibition will go on till Sunday.
The three artists are still in their teens. It looks like they are just out of art schools. They have begun their art journey quite well.
Pravin Randive has done works in acrylic. The theme: goings-on around him. Like for instance, the need for saving the girl child. The painting in this regard is titled “Save Me” and the artist says his paintings on such themes are intended to send some message to society.

Yashwant Pawar creates birhgt, abstracted works on nature. The colour arrangements in the paintings are good. Though brights, the colours do not hurt the eye. Contact: 9730392364.
Dattatray Jamale has some pen and ink on paper and also acrylic on canvas works. In the painting “Festival”, he shows a cluster of differently coloured kites and a bunch of kids and grown-ups enjoying themselves. The images make a harmonious composition.
