Some 30 artists are displaying their works at an exhibition at the J.J. School of Art. The curated art exhibition showcases works of artists passed out through the J.J. School of Art in the 80s.
The title of the exhibition is 'A Juncture of Relevance and Reverance'. As the title of the show suggests, it was a unique time (the 80s) in the college with a bearing influence of abstract art from the previous generations and at the same time explanation of new ideas and figurative. The decade has seen the most creative and strong statement.
During the show on Jan 11, there will be a screening of films by P. Mansaram. The films are titled: Rear View Mirror, Devi Stuffed Goat and Pink Cloth, Intersect, Tea Drinking Man and Metuhan Pizzas.
