An exhibition ‘Connecting concepts’ organized by the ICIA (Institute of Contemporary Indian Art) and Consulate General of the Netherlands is on at the ICIA gallery. At first view, Connecting Concepts is an uncommon collection of objects and images that hardly seem to relate to each other. Certain realms of kinship are obvious: there is fashion, products, graphics, buildings, technology but what brings them together exactly does not reveal itself straightaway, apart from the similar way in which they are displayed and their shared roots in Netherlands.
It is a designed exhibition. A total of 18 designers have worked on the exhibition with individuals, companies and government institutions from both Netherlands and India. The goal of Connecting Concepts is to support the development of sustainable creative networks… The idea is to share and discuss ways of design thinking – in order to stimulate the ability to intelligently and carefully face the future we all share.
The exhibition continues till 16th June. Contact: 22048138.
