DIPAK ASOLE uses oil and acrylic colours. And the colours he uses are always bright and celebrate life.
Nature inspires him and it is the main theme of his paintings. He picks up various shapes in nature and he develops forms quite different from what he sees. With colours, he creates images on canvas – developing forms as per feelings.
And he also has a message in his paintings. He observes what is going on in society then puts across suitable, convincing messages. The paintings relate to social, traditional and spiritual happenings.
“I try to put on canvas my thoughts on social, traditional and spiritual matters”.
Asole hails from Ladkha. His father is an art teacher. He has also done a diploma in art teaching and got a B.F.A. from Nagpur University.
The exhibition by Dipak ended on Monday at Nehru Centre Art Gallery. Contact: 09881232334.
