TWO curators – Pravash Chatterjee and Minaksshi Bhattacharya – got together an exhibition in which artists from different parts of India, Sweden and Dubai participated. As many as 11 artists participated in the show.
Needless to point out that the paintings presented were in various styles, colour schemes. The curators, recognising the aspiration of the artists to display their works presented an opportunity to them.
It may be pointed out that quite a few curators are taking interest in art and artists and helping them in the sale of works. Not all artists are able to display their works in private galleries which charge quite a big chunk of commission.
Curators like Pravash Chatterjee and Minaksshi help in bringing to public notice good works of art by young and aspiring artists.
