The Abstract Horizon show at Tao Art Gallery features artists like Anwar, Brinda Miller, Suban Qadri.
The show is somewhere between the formless and definition – one sees glimpses of images or contrasts that are familiar but in blaze of colours.
Anwar has had solo and group shows all over India. Brinda Miller is a top-class artist with years of existence. She has experimented with various mediums like acrylic, corrugated cardboard, cloth and metallic paper. She is known to use material in a collage to create 3-dimensional effect.
In Sohar Qadri’s work, rich dyes of ochre, cerubean, cerulean, crimson or saffron or saffron transform the surfaces into effulgent pools.
And the work by Kalpana Shah entitled ‘Mother Earth’ is just great.
The exhibition will go on till September 18.
