Vidit Patankar, the talented son of music composer Mithilesh Patankar of Haapus fame, has come out with an album of eight songs sung by him which will be released on Sunday, April 22 at the hands of Anand Bhate.
Vidit first listened to his grandfather Vishwas Patan-kar’s compositions and was soon singing them at ease which prompted his parents to come out with a full fledged album which has six Marathi songs, one Hindi song, etc and the lyrics are by various lyricists – consisting of a rain song and a ‘kids in the zoo’ type of song.
His father proudly says that Vidit has learnt the process of playback singing and is very knowledgeable and at ease in front of the mike in the studio and the mixing console, etc. Now his grandfather has initiated him into jingle singing and he has sung one line in a jingle composed by his grandfather.
Luckily, Vidit was spotted at a family function where he sang some of the songs composed by his grandfather and his family was amazed at his talent which prompted them to bring out young Vidit’s album.
We wish Vidit the best in all his future endeavours.
