The challenge is to allow both the past and the present to co-exist, so that the past does not overshadow the present, and the present is able to be real in its own right. We bring into this moment a condensed version of all our yesterdays and the expectations of all our tomorrows. We can shift the focus to now, to this exact moment, in order to choose how to live it.
