Veteran actor Razak Khan, who entertained the audience with his perfect comic timing over the years, breathed his last yesterday, following a cardiac arrest.
Khan suffered a massive heart attack at 12.30 am, on Wednesday. He was immediately rushed to Mumbai's Holy Family hospital at Bandra. However, he succumbed and was declared dead on arrival.
The talented actor marked his Bollywood debut with the 1993 release Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. He has acted in over 90 films in a career spanning over two decades. He is best known for his roles in films like Raja Hindustani, Ishq, Baadshah and Hera Pheri to name a few.
His son Asad Khan, who works in Croatia, flew down to India yesterday. Razak Khan’s last rites will be performed at the Narialwadi Kabaristan at Byculla today.
