Producer Vashu Bhagnani has joined hands with actress Priyanka Chopra for her debut Punjabi production 'Sarvann'.
Purple Pebble Pictures (PPP), founded by Priyanka, today announced their collaboration with Puja Entertainment, led by Vashu Bhagnani.
“We are excited to collaborate with Vashuji on this film. We have had such an amazing response to our regional film ventures and we are now looking forward to our Punjabi debut,” Priyanka said in a statement.
Bhagnani too is glad to collaborate with Priyanka. “After so many years of being in the industry, we now got the opportunity to work together and are making our debut as producers in Punjabi films together,” Bhagnani said.
Co-produced by Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra and Vashu Bhagnani, 'Sarvann', is coming-of-age story of a young boy who unknowingly discovers his true identity. Directed by Karan Guliani, the movie stars Amrinder Gill, Ranjit Bawa and Simi Chehail.
The first schedule of 'Sarvann' has been completed in Canada and the second marathon schedule began on September 5.
