By now, all of you must be well versed with the struggles and hiccups that the Abhishek Chaubey directed ''Udta Punjab'' faced, before release. Even though the CBFC found many scenes and dialogues in the film not suitable for the Indian audience, strangely enough, three of India's business schools found ''Udta Punjab'' and its struggle before its release a subject good enough to be included as a case study.
As per the news reports, there are as many as three business schools, namely Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, Nirma Business School, Ahmedabad, and the International Institute of Professional Studies, Indore, who have commissioned a case study as to how an opinion war and a perception battle was fought before the release of ''Udta Punjab''. Speaking about the same, Madhu Mantena (one of the film producers) said that they were constantly getting queries from various media and management colleges and institutions who wanted to make a PR case study on the film. The aforementioned B-schools also wanted to study how the discussions and debates propelled Udta Punjab's commercial prospects.
