The popular courtroom drama, ‘Twelve Angry Men’, a play written by Aaron Sorkin and made into a Hollywood film directed by Sidney Lumet, and then into a Hindi film called ‘Ek Ruka Hua Faisla’ by Basu Chatterjee in the righties.
The play has been staged several times on Broadway in Hindi, Marathi and English. ‘Twelve Angry Jurors’ will now be remade in Hindi again by director Vivek Agnihotri, whose ''Junooniyat'' released successfully recently.
Vivek, who is now casting for the film, says, “it will be a star studded film”. The film is about the trial of a young convict who is accused of murdering his father and how the trial continues with eleven jurors accusing him guilty of his crime, but one juror stands up for him”. The film is set to go on floors soon.
