Charming senior actress Tanvi Azmi who bagged the coveted supporting actress National Award for her riveting grey-shades performance in ‘showman’ Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’, is evidently a far cry from her off-screen serious, sober image.
The fun-loving Tanvi, who plays Paresh Rawal’s wife in the upcoming hilarious Hindi movie ‘Guest inn London’, directed by Ashwani Dhir was in her ‘true colours’ on the sets. One of the popular dance numbers from the film composed by Raghav Sachar which goes ‘Frankly Tu Sona Nachdi’ was being picturised on the lead pair Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Kharbanda.
Not surprisingly, Tanvi (Shabana Azmi’s sis-in-law) connected with the song and began tapping her feet, while she saw Kartik and Kriti dancing to the song beats. Actually, the sporting Azmi was part of Kriti's rehearsal and would dance along with her during the practice. By the time the song was ready to be shot she knew all the steps of Kriti. The trio then changed positions during the break. The effervescent Kriti became the ‘director’ and shot an extempore video of Kartik and Tanvi dancing on the song together.
The entire set was startled by the energy and the perfection with which Tanvi Azmi danced to the song. “The song is simply irresistible and since I love music and dance, I just let myself go for a few minutes and enjoyed the experience,” enthused Tanvi.
