Shah Rukh Khan and the makers of the film ''Fan'' have landed in legal trouble as the owner of a popular sweet shop in Chandni Chowk, Delhi, has sent a notice for using its brand name without permission. Sushant Jain, the owner of Ghantewala Sweets, which is reportedly shut since a couple of years, has alleged infringement of trademark.
In the film, SRK's character Gaurav takes a box of Sohan Halwa when he goes to meet his idol Aryan Khanna in Mumbai. The boxes were shown twice on the screen, once when Gaurav's parent hand it over to him and then when Gaurav drops it on the street amid chaos and disappointment of not getting to meet his idol. It seems that by suing the superstar, the owner can revive the sweet shop. The owner is reportedly seeking compensation from the makers of the film.
