Before all you gossip mongers out there start rubbing their hands with glee at this piece of hot rumour, let it be made clear that the actor turned producer Sonu Sood has finalised actress and item girl Mallika Sherawat to play the female lead in his maiden production venture ‘Lucky Unlucky’.
Sonu Sood, who first grabbed eyeballs with ‘Yuva’, where he played Abhishek Bachchan's brother and recently was appreciated for his negative role and muscular physique in ‘Dabangg’ has reportedly teamed up with his friend Ajay Dhama to form a production company called 'Sonu Sood Productions'.
Sood was quoted to have said, “The film is a comedy-action-adventure type set in north India, UP, Delhi and Haryana. One can say that the movie is a blend of ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘Dabangg’, a journey of two people and the circumstances brought about after they come together. I am the 'Unlucky' character in the film, while Mallika is 'Lucky'."
Let's hope this venture proves to be 'lucky' for Mr. Sood...
