Actress Shamita Shetty has finally joined the micro-blogging site Twitter. The 'Zeher' actress, who has taken a break from acting to pursue a career in interior designing, debuted on Twitter after brother-in-law Raj Kundra convinced her.
Informing fans about her official twitter page the 36-year-old actress wrote, "Hi people I am finally on Twitter and this is my official handle... Happy to be here!"
Her sister Shilpa Shetty's businessman husband Raj also welcomed her.
"Finally convinced my sister in law @shetty_shamita to join Twitter! Show her some love people. (not too much) or you will have me to deal with." tweeted Raj.
Shamita, whose last screen outing was a Tamil film in 2011, is expected to take part in a celebrity dance reality show.
