The makers of upcoming biopic ''Sarbjit'', which is based on the life of slain Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh, who spent 22 years in a Pakistani jail on false espionage charges, moved the audiences with their heart-rending trailer and now, they have started a foundation to help bring back Indian prisoners from Pakistan.
Director Omung Kumar said, ''When we were about to start this film, I felt that if through this film even one Indian prisoner gets freedom, the purpose of the film is served. We have now started a foundation called 'Bring Them Back Home', through which we will come to know about Indian prisoners in Pakistan, their ordeals and what their families are going through. Towards the end of this film, the government and the citizens will realise what is going on and accept that something has to be done about it.''
