Omung Kumar's ''Sarbjit'' which is going to be released tomorrow, was recently screened at 69th Festival de Cannes. The film's leading lady Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who killed the film festival with her fashion sense walked the red carpet along with co-star Richa Chadha, Director Omung Kumar, producer Bhushan Kumar, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Jackky Bhagnani.
A source present at the screening informs that audiences were highly impressed by the outstanding acting and powerful storyline. It was overheard that many felt the film surely has the potential to receive enormous awards and acknowledgments. The fans were speechless and mesmerised by the amazing performances portrayed by the actors.
Adding further, the source says, as soon as the screening got over, many fans appreciated the lead cast on social media and expressed that they would definitely watch it again. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's de glam avatar and breathtaking performance was the talk of the town.
Going gaga over her performance, fans even stated that this would be one of the best performances of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the lady surely deserves to be recognised for her immense dedication.
The director also garnered high remarks for his amazing direction and choice of the perfect star cast. Ash says, “I was initially hesitant to do the film, but director Omung Kumar was persistent that I alone was fit for this role and today, I am glad that I have done this film which was a kind of an acting class for me”. She further adds, “Omung has extracted the best out of me and whatever laurels I win, will deservedly go to him”. Lets see how her prediction goes!
