Internationally acclaimed Latin American and Ballroom dancer, Bollywood choreographer and dance-guru Sandip Soparrkar has added one more dimension to his career-crown. That of a lead actor that too in a bohemian movie whose title may make most of our dare-bare oomph-babes squirm and blush.
But it was all gleeful joy for Sandip, as he stated that, “As my first film in a prominent role as an actor it was difficult to choose this film as the ‘one film’ where I could dabble into acting. Not only by the title “I am not a Pornstar-- Nazar Sambhal Ke!” that I was intrigued but the way the script takes the journey in the heart and plays in the lows and hurdles that we go through while in cosy relationships.This movie shatters perspectives that prevail in the traditional psyche-- to endure or to walk-out. And believe me, I have not danced at all in this movie,” shrugs Soparrkar.
Producer Chanda Patel enthused, ”Unveiling the maverick movie-poster at World Film Festival in Los Angeles makes all film-buffs curious about your film and here we are now unveiling The ‘Red Velvet Column’ Cover Page. We will take the film to various global film festivals around the world and then release it in local theatres.”
Meanwhile writer-director Jainendra Baxi emphasized that ‘I Am Not A Pornstar …’ is a film which is 80 per cent in English and will emancipate the feeling that the youth today in the state of their minds have changed but they are not able to position themselves, outright”.
