Macho Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who is known for both daredevil action stunts and crackling comedy scenes is amazingly ‘candid and honest ’ enough to admit that his weak points are his voice and his inability to cry.
The ‘Singh is Bling’ hero declares, “ Actually over 90 per cent of actors do not look good while shedding tears in front of the camera. Some of them try to conceal their twisted sobbing faces with their palms or a cap or a muffler. So whenever I need to cry, I contort my face as minimum as possible,” he confesses.
Was there any actor he felt was impressive at tear-jerking. Without batting an eyelid Akshay responds . ”According to me, no actor cries as convincingly on screen as Salman-bhai. The moment he starts crying on screen, the audience gets emotionally moved,” he shrugs.
About his husky voice he says, “Unlike the bass, commanding voice of Ajay Devgan, my voice is rather thin,” smiles Akki (Akshay , that is) who is off-screen a trained martial arts exponent and also well-versed in cooking.
