A few days ago it was reported that Arjun Rampal's nightclub LAP, which is situated in a five star hotel in Delhi, has run into legal trouble as he has defaulted on payment of rent and owes dues to the tune of about Rs.2 crore. However, sources close to the actor have refuted the rumours.
Insiders claim that the nightclub is doing extremely well and the actor is now planning to venture into foreign shores as well. Rampal has been aggressively planning to foray in Singapore, Dubai and London. In the midst of all the planning and chaos, there seems to be a certain rival who is not quite happy with the actor's success and is spreading baseless rumours about Arjun not agreeing to pay dues to Indian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), which runs Hotel Samrat, where the premier club is located.
When contacted, our source, a close friend of the actor, said, “LAP has been running successfully for over four years now. It is sad to see people stoop so low, trying to bring down someone who is not only doing good business, but setting higher standards for others.”
