Riteish Deshmukh completed 10 years in Bollywood on Thursday and says that the day marks another new beginning for him as he debuts as a producer. The 34-year-old made his Bollywood debut with Tujhe Meri Kasam, which also helped him find his soulmate in his co-star Genelia D’Souza, with whom he tied the knot last year.
“3rd Jan 2003 - a decade ago my ‘baiko’, Genelia D’Souza and me made our debut in this wonder world of films. Tujhe Meri Kasam, a step that changed my life,” Riteish, son of late minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, tweeted.
“Never thought I would last here for ten years but I guess I underestimated your patience. Thank you for all your criticism, support and love,” he further posted. After successful stint as an actor, the day becomes even more special as Riteish now makes his debut as a producer with Marathi film Balak Palak.
