At one stage, it seemed like all was set for the release of SRK’S RAEES, but there is talk about the release date being pushed ahead as Shahrukh now doesn’t want to clash with Salman Khan whose SULTAAN is also due for release at EID this year. One talk making the rounds is that RAEES may now come on December 9 which is already marked as the release date of BEFIKRE. The confusion continues as BEFIKRE in turn will in all probability move its release to December 25, which as usual is the favorite Christmas season that Aamir Khan would have liked to see the release of his only film that he has on hand, ‘DANGAL’. And now we have to believe our cine-trade sources when they say that DANGAL is going to move its release date to January 26 2017, which is also the date on which two other big films are marked for release, Ajay Devgn’s BAADSHAHO and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘KAABIL’. According to a cine-trade expert, the star films should be released in a phased manner rather than releasing at the same date which can lead into loosing each others business which can prove detrimental to the distributors who give big bucks to get these big Khan films —SH
