South actress Raai Laxmi would be marking her Bollywood debut against renowned director Anurag Kashyap in movie ‘Akira’. The film is the remake of Tamil film ‘Mouna Guru’ and Kashyap would be seen in a different avatar.

Raai Laxmi is excited about this opportunity and delighted to be paired opposite Anurag Kashyap. “I am a huge fan of Anurag Kashyap and working with him is a learning experience. Entering Bollywood with such great people makes me feel blessed. I will surely get to know lot of things about Bollywood through Anurag Kashyap’s eyes,” she said.

Raai Laxmi said that she was pleasantly surprised with with the acting skills of Kashyap. “I really like working with him. He is used to doing things in detail. Just like a perfect director, he believes in getting into the details. He will surprise you with ‘Akira’!”
